2. Information we collect
a) Information you provide directly. When you use our contact forms, request-for-quotation (RFQ) forms, or email us, we collect: your name, company name, job title, business email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country, and the details of your inquiry (products of interest, specifications, quantities, packaging requirements, destination port).
b) Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical data: pages visited, time spent, approximate geographic region, device and browser type. This is gathered through standard website analytics (including the analytics module of our SEO plugin) and server logs.
c) What we do NOT collect on this website. We do not operate online checkout payments on this site — pricing is quotation-based (RFQ), and payments are handled through bank instruments (e.g. letter of credit, documentary collection, telegraphic transfer) outside this website. We do not ask for or store your banking credentials here.
3. How we use your information
We use the information to:
- respond to your inquiries and prepare quotations;
- coordinate samples, specifications, production, and shipments;
- send commercial documents (proforma invoices, certificates of analysis, shipping documents) related to your orders;
- improve our website content and buyer experience;
- meet legal, tax, and export-documentation obligations under Pakistani law.
We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without your consent.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Strictly necessary operation of the website (e.g. remembering form inputs, security);
- Analytics — understanding which pages buyers find useful so we can improve them;
- Preferences — such as language or region settings where offered.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some website functions (for example, forms may not retain your entries).
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal or business information to anyone.
We share information only where necessary to conduct business with you:
- Service providers who help operate the website (hosting, email delivery, analytics) — bound to use data only for the service provided;
- Trade counterparties where required to fulfil your order — e.g. freight forwarders, shipping lines, and third-party inspection agencies (such as SGS or Bureau Veritas) receive only the order details they need;
- Legal compliance — where disclosure is required by Pakistani law, customs, or a court order.
6. Data retention
We keep inquiry and order-related information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above — including maintaining a commercial relationship, supporting repeat orders, and meeting tax and export record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it, in which case we will explain why.
7. Your rights
You may at any time:
- ask what information we hold about you or your company;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your information (subject to section 6);
- withdraw consent for any optional communications.
Send such requests to info@salzenith.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
8. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (including access controls on our systems and the brute-force/login-attempt protection active on this website). No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take protection of buyer information seriously.
9. International transfers
As an exporter, we necessarily communicate with buyers worldwide. By contacting us, you understand your inquiry details may be processed in Pakistan and communicated across borders as part of normal trade correspondence.
10. Children’s privacy
This is a B2B trade website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
This policy is provided for transparency about our data practices. Specific commercial terms for quotations and orders are governed by our Terms & Conditions and the proforma invoice issued for each order.
