These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern dealings between MAS Mubarak Foods Pvt Ltd, trading as Salzenith (“we”, “us”, “our”) — a Pakistani manufacturer, processor, exporter, and private-label/OEM partner for Himalayan pink salt products — and its business buyers (“Buyer”, “you”). Requesting a quotation, ordering samples, or placing an order constitutes acceptance of these Terms. A signed agreement or order-specific proforma invoice prevails over these Terms for that order where they conflict.

1. Nature of business

Salzenith operates strictly business-to-business (B2B). We do not sell retail quantities to end consumers through this website. All pricing is quotation-based (RFQ) — no public price list is published, and any price indication on the website is illustrative only unless confirmed in a written quotation.

2. Quotations (RFQ)

2.1. Quotations are prepared per metric ton (MT) or as otherwise stated, and always specify the Incoterm basis (see our Shipping & Export Policy), product grade, particle size/mesh, colour, packaging, quantity, and destination.

2.2. Unless stated otherwise, a quotation is valid for 30 days from its date of issue.

2.3. A quotation is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer, until confirmed by a proforma invoice accepted by both parties.

3. Samples

3.1. We offer free product samples so buyers can evaluate grade, grain size, colour, and packaging before committing to an order.

3.2. Courier/freight charges for sample dispatch are borne by the Buyer unless agreed otherwise in writing.

3.3. Samples represent typical production. Because pink salt is a natural product, minor variation in shade and texture between the sample and bulk production can occur; the agreed written specification (not the sample alone) governs acceptance of bulk goods.

4. Order confirmation

4.1. An order becomes binding when both parties have accepted a proforma invoice setting out: product specifications (grade, mesh/grain size, colour, packaging), quantity, price, Incoterm, payment terms, and shipment schedule — together with receipt of any agreed advance payment.

4.2. Specifications must be agreed in writing before production begins. Verbal understandings do not amend the written specification.

4.3. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring the ordered products comply with the import regulations, food-safety standards, and labelling requirements of the destination country. We provide documentation support (see Shipping & Export Policy) but do not assume liability for destination-country regulatory compliance.

5. Payment terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we work with these payment methods (our standard preference first):

  1. Irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight — 100% (our preferred method);
  2. Documents Against Payment (D/P) at sight;
  3. Cash Against Documents (CAD);
  4. 50% advance with order, 50% against scanned Bill of Lading documents;
  5. Telegraphic transfer (T/T) advance.

Bank and documentary charges are allocated as stated in the proforma invoice. Late payments may incur charges as agreed in writing.

6. Production and lead times

6.1. Lead times in the quotation or proforma invoice are good-faith estimates reflecting production, packaging, testing, documentation, inspection, and vessel booking at the time of order.

6.2. Stated dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed as firm shipment dates in writing. Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (see section 9) do not constitute breach.

7. Quality, testing, and Certificate of Analysis

7.1. Edible pink salt products undergo laboratory verification, and commercial orders are dispatched with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) reflecting the actual batch supplied — not a generic marketing specification.

7.2. The COA parameters (e.g. NaCl %, moisture, particle size, and contaminant limits where applicable) follow the specification agreed before shipment and the requirements of the destination market as communicated by the Buyer.

7.3. Independent third-party inspection (e.g. SGS, Bureau Veritas) can be arranged on request. Cost allocation for third-party inspection is as agreed in the quotation; unless agreed otherwise, it is borne by the Buyer.

8. Private label and OEM

8.1. Where we produce goods under the Buyer’s brand, the Buyer warrants that all trademarks, artwork, label text, and packaging designs it supplies are owned by the Buyer or used with proper authorization, and do not infringe any third party’s rights.

8.2. Salzenith accepts no liability for intellectual-property claims arising from Buyer-supplied branding. The Buyer shall indemnify Salzenith against such claims.

8.3. All Salzenith branding, website content, product photography, and know-how remain the exclusive property of MAS Mubarak Foods Pvt Ltd.

9. Liability and force majeure

9.1. Our total liability for any order is limited to the contract value of the affected goods. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption.

9.2. Neither party is liable for non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control — natural disasters, port closures, vessel unavailability, strikes, epidemics, or changes in law or export regulation.

10. Governing law and disputes

10.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.

10.2. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. Failing that, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force at order confirmation applies to that order.
